Easy Deposits by Invoice in Sweden and improved mobile deposits.

This past week we launched deposits by invoice for Swedish based customers on Casino Room and Euro Poker in cooperation with the company Kriita. The new invoice-based payment solution enables smart, convenient and secure deposits from desktop, and in a few weeks also from mobile devices. For first time users, the Kriita solution performs a KYC and checks the player's ability to pay before setting a deposit limit in real time. Once that has been cleared the customer will only need to enter a code that is sent to his/her mobile for each deposit. Meaning that our customers won't need to submit credit card details or enter lengthy numbers while being on the move.

The improved convenience and trust mechanisms of the Kriita solution will result in an increase in deposit volumes for Casino Room and growing revenues for you as affiliates.

- Invoice is already a popular payment method in many of our regions and we have had the ambition to offer it for quite some time, but the alternatives have lacked the proper security and trust mechanisms necessary in iGaming. The invoice solution we have implemented removes our risk exposure and upholds a high level of responsibility towards our players while at the same time being extremely convenient. During the first weeks in operation we've seen a surge for this method and it has actually taken on average 30% of deposits, some days even up to 50%, says Magnus Lindberg, Nordic Director Casino Room.

We are excited to announce that we are almost ready for our move to NetRefer probably the best affiliate software out there.
In the next few weeks we will be shutting down PokerAffiliate.com to new affiliates and have them sign up at http://affiliates.ellmountgaming.com/.
This change will not immediately affect you as a current affiliate as you will still be able to login and check you stats at PokerAffilaite.com. Over the next few months we will start moving you to the new system and our plan is to have all the affiliates moved to NetRefer in 6 months.

Recent Down Time

As you all might have noticed during the last few days all of our sites have been down periodically.

This disruption has been due to us moving our main servers. While this is an enormous undertaking and although we are generally happy with the results, there have been some residual issues which we are working hard to resolve.

The decision to move our servers was based on a number of different reasons but mostly we wanted to make our sites faster, more responsive and we need that extra power for the great changes we are going to make in the near future.

Currently if you log into http://www.pokeraffiliate.com/ and look at your account you will see that the information stops at April 1st.

This is not some cruel joke played on our affiliates in the spirit of April fools, but rather an unexpected consequence of the move. The good news is that all the information from April 1 and forward is not lost just "stuck in transit " and our programming team is working feverishly to get this resolved. Once they have fixed the issue all the information will be displayed as usual in your PokerAffiliate account.

Strobe Poker – a killer application to increase game play

At Euro Poker we have now introduced Strobe Poker – the new fast way of playing poker. The game play is the same as normal No Limit Hold'em, but there is one big difference that allows players to play more hands per hour. After they fold, they will be dealt into a hand at a new table, with new opponents, to continue playing right away!

Strobe Poker has already been shown to be very popular among players and accounts for up to 40 percent of all cash game hands. Stats Down

Currently we are experiencing a technical difficulty with our stats.

Since Monday the 14 of January 2013 our stats for affiliates has been down across all platforms. We are working on getting the stats up and running as soon as possible but unfortunately at this moment there is no ETA for when this will be fixed.

Back from BAC

I have now returned from a very informative and productive weekend attending the BAC 2012 conference in Barcelona. Thank you to all the affiliates that I had the opportunity to meet and a big thank you to the organizers of the conference! This year's conference had some very good speakers and I must say personally the Gamification and Social gaming seminar held by Plumbee CEO Raf Keusterman, was highly interesting and very valuable. Ongame sold to Amaya Gaming Group

Industry reaction to the sale of Ongame Network.

The online poker community is currently reacting to the news of Ongame Network sale to Amaya Gaming group.

The company reportedly sold for under the asking price, after two previous deals to sell the network had fallen through.

The CEO David Baazov of Amaya group had this to say:

The acquisition of Ongame bolsters Amaya Gaming’s product portfolio, transforming Amaya into a leading provider of gaming platforms. Amaya looks forward to unleashing Ongame’s technology to its full potential through the leveraging of our many B2B relationships and delivering new partners and players to the network. The Ongame platform is scalable, proven and secure and is well suited for quick deployment in new regulated markets. We’re excited about the wide range of opportunities this acquisition makes possible for us as we execute on our vision.

Feeling the pulse of the online poker community, reaction has been mixed amongst players judging from early posts on the Bankroll Mob community board, with user Awood88 saying:

Not happy about this. I play at bwin and I ¤¤¤¤ party poker, I don't want to play there. I heard they were merging some time ago but I was hoping they would keep the ongame network cos it has way better tournaments, less rake and a better prize structure. But I suppose poker is the party speciality in this relationship. It was obvious this would happen.

Our partner Euro Poker, who currently sit on the Ongame Network have stated their desire to remain with Ongame, sighting Amaya Group as the perfect partner to take Ongame to its full potential. Big Three Indicted

"Black Friday" hails a new online poker era?

As many of you are doubtlessly aware the founders of PokerStars, Full Tilt and Absolute Poker were among 11 people accused of alleged bank fraud, illegal gambling offences and money laundering in an indictment unsealed by federal prosecutors on Friday morning.

EuroPoker.com as part of the Ongame Network took a conscious decision to acknowledge the binding nature of the UGIEA, and therefore have not been offering real money services to players from the US since the legislation passed.

French License

EuroPoker.com well on the way to being compliment in the French market

EuroPoker.com is optimistic about its chances of obtaining a French gaming licence for early summer 2011. The licence will mean that EuroPoker will be welcoming French players on their EuroPoker.fr label.
